Communicating with Animals

In a consultation (also called a "reading"), Bonnie telepathically connects with the energy of the animal, using her intuitive skills:  clairvoyance (seeing images in the mind's eye), clairaudience (internally hearing words), and clairsentience (feeling the animal's emotions and/or physical conditions).  The only information she requests before the reading is the animal's name, breed, color, age, gender, and how long the animal has been with the owner.  Bonnie finds it very rewarding to personally meet with her animal clients but is able to communicate effectively with any animal who may not be present (due to georgraphical distance or in spirit).

A typical reading with Bonnie offers pet owners an opportunity to get answers to questions about their pets, in order to identify sources of unacceptable behavior, to clarify or gain insight into unresolved health concerns, to address emotional issues, and to find comfort if there is grieving over the loss of a beloved pet.  It is Bonnie's goal to provide animals with a voice, to help animal lovers better understand their special relationship with the animals in their lives, and to raise awareness about animals and their needs.  She believes that communicating with animals truly offers a chance to deepen the bond between pets and their "people."

Animal Healing

  Another aspect of Bonnie's work is healing, which often arises from what the animals have to share or from requests from the pet owners.  For physical, behavioral, or emotional issues, Bonnie offers a healing modality called Reiki (also known as "energy healing" or "universal life energy") -- and takes place in person.  As stated in the book Animal Reiki, by Fulton & Prasad, "Reiki can be used to maintain health and energetic balance in a healthy being, to heal illness, injuries, emotional and spiritual problems, and to ease the transition between life and death."  It is important to remember that Reiki can never be harmful and can support the work of other alternative (and conventional) treatments for animals.

Depending on need, Bonnie may also utilize ThetaHealing®, which is another energy healing modality, created by Vianna Stibal (for more info on this, visit thetahealing.com).  With this meditational process is physical, psychological, and spiritual healing in conjunction with focused prayer.  This type of healing can be offered in person or long-distance.

Before and After the Loss of Your Pet/Grief Counseling

Bonnie's story:  "One of the greatest joys in life is having a special relationship with an animal companion!  But losing a beloved pet can be one of the most emotionally difficult experiences animal lovers will ever go through.  I know -- it happened to me.  On January 31, 2002, I was faced with the unbearable decision to put down my sweet Spaniel/Setter, Corky.   I had never been in this position with any previous pets, for various reasons, and in making this call, I felt alone and confused.  While my vet, a few friends and family were sympathetic and understanding, I had no one to turn to for solace or guidance. The sadness and grief I felt left me in mourning for a very long time."

Since beginning her work with animals and their families, Bonnie has made it a priority to offer pet lovers the chance to hear from their pets directly; she does this through her communication with them, about their transition into spirit -- before or after -- and to help people gain understanding while ultimately finding peace of mind with their loss.  Hearing how your pets feel about their lives, their experiences, and their transition to the other side will never remove the feeling of loss, but clients report that this information definitely offers a feeling of relief and comfort that their beloved friend is at peace.

For a private reading and/or healing session, Bonnie is available to personally visit with pet owners only in the Orange County, California area.  If you are out of this area, Bonnie offers readings via telephone, at a day and time agreed upon (with pre-payment sent prior to the appointment time); you are also encouraged to send photos!

           $60 per animal, up to 30 minutes ("short session") 
           $100 per animal, 30-60 minutes ("long session")
           $5 discount for each additional animal (same session only)
           $45 per animal for "checking in" (returning clients only)
